Memorial Plaque Presented 10/11/26

Several Homestead residents donated funds for a memorial plaque in honor of Steven Havill to be hung in the community center. The plaque was created by Zak and Krista Starer of 3 Star Studio Arts on a piece of locally sourced juniper wood. They graciously decided to donate the piece of art. The $220 collected for the plaque will be donated to the Baldwin Public Library here in Datil in Steve's name. Thank you to all the generous people who were a part of this effort.

Caption reads: Steven F. Havill June 22, 1945-August 27, 2026 In honor and appreciation for his years of dedicated service and leadership to the Homestead.
